Why have to sit when eat and drinking
Here's scientific reason!!! there are many ways to drink, most of us drink while standing, sitting, while walking..even while running when exercising
Here I will reveal the fact of how important to sit while drinking
Research shows that the water we drink while sitting will be screened by sfringer. Sfringer is a structure maskuler (muscular) which can be opened (so that urine can pass) and close. Any water we drink is supplied to the posts in the kidney filtration. 
If we stand when drinking, the water we drink will go directly to the bladder without prior and filtered, it will settle in the ureter tract. If passed continuously it will leave residual waste in the ureter. and it is the beginning of the kidney crystals disease.
Medically, this is proven in terms of health, when sitting, whatever you drink will run on the intestinal wall slowly and gentle. But if you do it while standing, then it will cause the fall of the liquid pouring into basic intestine, and colon will be hit aloud, if this happens constantly  in a long period, it will cause the intestinal conditions become stretched, and even shifted down from our ideal position. Which eventually will become the cause of gastrointestinal disfunction.

Calmness can be successfully created when seated, because the nerves are in a stable state and not tense, so the digestive system in a state ready to accept the intake of food and drink appropriately (well.. you now know why we are hard to sleep while stand up and easily to fall a sleep while sit haghaghag ...)
Similarly, eat and drink while standing is continuously will cause harm to the intestinal wall and allow the wounds on the stomach.
Research conducted by the doctors saw that the wounds in the stomach 95% occurred in a spot that usually collide with food or beverage intake. Including the condition of the balance while standing with muscular contractions of the throat that blocks the path of food into the intestines easily and even sometimes causes a very sick that interfere with the function of digestion and a person can lose a sense of comfort while eating and drinking.
So..from now on, lets change our habits when drinking !!
